Chinese language HSK-II training opened

THE Ministry of Hotels and Tourism launched the Chinese language HSK-II training in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine said the tourism industry is a service-oriented business, and it is important to be able to serve the tourists in their languages. In addition to Chinese language courses under the ministry’s programmes, English, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Thai language
courses are also being opened nationwide. She then urged the trainees to learn carefully and make efforts to become good employees who can be reliable ones for the ministry.
Then, the principal of Fuqing International Language Centre reported on the learning conditions and the current plans for the training courses. The Union minister and the deputy minister oversaw the Chinese language training
courses and provided necessary instructions. The training will last two months and the staff officers and staff will join it.
At noon, the Union minister received Yangon International Hotel President Mr
Koki Onodera at the ministry and discussed the promotion of tourism to Japan, invitation processes to attract Japanese tourists to Myanmar and plans to share good images of the country to Japanese people.
