Certification Ceremony of Hospitality Training was held in Naung Cho

Nay Pyi Taw, 4^th June In the City Hall, in Naung Cho on the 31^st May 2019, over 200 peopleattendeda CertificationCeremony held to celebrate the complication of the Basic Hospitality Training Courses, which has the overall aim ofdeveloping human resource within the tourism sector. A total of 163 trainees successfully completed The Basic Hospitality Training Coursewhich covered the following areas- Front Office Operation, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Service and Food & Beverage Production and was conducted from 5^thMay -31^st May 2019 for four weeks. The course was conducted under the management of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism in cooperation with the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Lashio Office) and Hoteliers Association (Northern Shan State Zone) Attended the ceremony wereU HtinAungNaing, Director of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Taunggyi Office), officials from related government departments,the Hoteliers Association (Northern Shan State Zone), hoteliers, trainers, trainees, city elders and invited guests. In this occasion, U HtinAungNaing delivered the opening speech and Professor Dr. SeinSeinThein, Chairman of Green Economic and Development Working Group shared and discussed the experience of Community Based Tourism Excursion in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After the official speeches, prizeswere awarded to the students who showed the most promise and ability during the Course who were recognised for their outstandingly achievements, certificates where present to the successful trainees. Also recognised was the hard work of the trainersand the supporterswho all contributed to the quality the training.
