Held at the Mya Tha Lon Pagoda this festival is attended by people from all over Myanmar come to Magway and celebrate the festival with the locals. They provide nutritious food for monks who have conducted religious rituals for the locals. 9,000 oil lamps will be offered to the pagoda in which the pagoda will be brightly lit at night.
