More International Tourists visit by their own motor vehicles

Nay Pyi Taw, August (5) The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is always seeking new markets and destinations in the development of the tourism industry in Myanmar. One of the roles of MoHT is to ensure the safety and comfort of overseas visitors and to make their visits memeorable and an experience they will remember forever. One of the new areas of tourism development, which is growing in popularity,is International visitors arriving by their own vehicles. One such group arrived on the 27^th July from Thailand. The group numbering 27 visitors, travelled by their own cars, 10 vehicles in total, from the Htiki Border Gate to Dawei, Maungmakan and then,on the 29^th July headed back to the Htiki Border Gate and back into Thailand. The tour was organised in conjunction with the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, with the tour arrangements made by Mother Ayeyarwady Travels &Tours CoLtd, This is just a small example of this special interest style of travel, with visitors now discovering and enjoying the natural beauty, traditional cultureof ethnic people of Myanmar by their own motor cars, cycles and bicycles.
