More than 150 local and foreign cyclists reportedly took part in the 9-mile stretch up to December Farm from Pwekauk Waterfall. Afterwards, the Union minister and party arrived at the PyinOoLwin station and cut the ribbon to open the railway from PyinOoLwin to Gote Hteik Viaduct, giving souvenirs to the passengers. In order to follow COVID-19 rules and regulations, the number of regular passengers was halved, with about 140 passengers on board. The Union minister and party also met the cyclists at Pwekauk Waterfall and presented commemorative medals and awarded certificates to those who participated in the cycling tour at December Farm. In the afternoon, the Union minister and party observed the registration process under the “Flower Garden” project conducted by the Ministry of Immigration and Population and handed over the registration cards to the local people who came to register. — MNA Source From: The Global New Light of Myanmar
