MoHT Union Minister attends launching ceremony of Travel Safe Application developed by Golden TMH Telecom Company

THE Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is promoting the inbound tourist destinations to ensure the safe travel, health issue and safety of travellers and the country now hosts international visitors from over 30 countries. Union Minister Dr Htay Aung attended the launching ceremony of the Travel Safe Application for Health and Security Screening for Travellers developed by Golden TMH Telecom Company, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Speaking at the event, the Union minister said the international flights were allowed to resume on 17 April and the business visa applications on 20 May. The safety and health issues of travellers are crucial. Systematic preventive measures are also needed to carry out despite the declining COVID-19 infection rate. The Ministry of Health provides the necessary health checks at Yangon and Mandalay international airports. The MoHT is also carrying out the Health and Safety Protocol (HSP) for seven tourism-related fields. The HSP can achieve the trust of international tourists and the service providers can serve with confidence. Then, the Golden TMH Telecom Company chairperson talked about the company that provides high-speed fibre, wireless and satellite access technologies to the business enterprise in Myanmar and the aims of developing the Travel Safe Application.
