Tour Guide Training:  Application for Tour Guide (Basic) Training Course 

SCOPE OF THE TRAINING:

  • To understand the rules and regulations of tourism
  • To be aware of the principles and ethics that a tour guide must follow
  • To be able to provide the high-quality guide service
  • To raise consciousness in preserving religious and cultural heritage
  • To understand the departmental functions related to tourism business
  • To understand the terms and conditions related to tourism business
  • To raise awareness in environmental conservation
  • To understand architecture and archaeological subjects
  • To understand Myanmar literature and culture as well as to enhance the patriotic mindset.
  • To understand the traditions and customs of ethnic groups.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Must be a university graduate
  • Must submit recommendation letters from the police station and ward administrator.
  • Must submit recommendation letter (Physical and Mental) from a Regional Health Department
  • Must be proficient in at least one language.
  • Must be at least 20 years old and have a National Registration Card.
  • Must be interested in tourism.
