- Ministry of Hotels and Tourism intends to the long-term development of hotels and tourism sector in Myanmar and safe and comfortable trip for tourists.
- There are infections by travelers who come from COVID-19 infection countries to Myanmar through air travel. Therefore, there is an announcement for international airport flights on 29 March 2020. It is to increase the temporary restriction, “Temporary Measures to prevent Importation of COVID-19 to Myanmar through Air Travel”.
- Now it is very important to control the international travellers for Myanmar and COVID-19 imported cases were found in travellers by international flight before temporary restriction of entry into Myanmar and due to the reduce of facility quarantine, it has been able to further enhance the response to other diseases. The directive of the Temporary Measures to Prevent Importation of COVID-19 to Myanmar through Air Travel has been extended from 13-4-2020 Myanmar Times at 23:59 to 30-4-2020 Myanmar Times 23:59.
- Therefore, we recommend that travel companies and travellers who serve the tourists by airline need to obey the directive of Ministry of Health and Sports.
