Tree-planting ceremony for Myanmar-Russian FAM Trip

DEPUTY Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe attended a tree-planting ceremony for Myanmar-Russia Tourism Person Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) persons in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. After the ceremony, the Deputy Minister met with the representatives of the Myanmar-Russia Tourism Person Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip). During the meeting, he discussed the plans to arrange proper tours to facilitate the Russian tourists as the dry season will start soon in Myanmar, widely present the destinations of Myanmar via famous Russian news media in addition to Facebook pages, and exchange information regarding sports and adventurous trips with the experts of two countries. Then, the officials of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation and Space Travel Agency discussed cooperation in the tourism sector, holding of workshops, arrangements for long-stay of Russian athletes in Myanmar during Russia’s winter, payment system and health insurance for Russian tourists, and proper assistance to facilitate the visit of Russian travellers to Myanmar.
